Using Twitter to Promote, Not Report, is the Norm

Reporters and numerous news organizations have mostly been using Twitter to promote their various stories. In using Twitter, journalists have seen an increase from “online Americans” from 8% to 13% to a higher growth of 63%. This was reported from November 2010 to June 2011. People are enjoying getting news and other information from their micro-mini blogging tool. Twitter is becoming a go-to information hotline.
